This is a great product. I don't have a large kitchen so when cooking the work surfaces are needed for everything but the cook book. This stand doesn't take up much room and I use it all time when cooking (especially baking).
I would thoroughly recommend this stand. It folds out and fixes itself at 3 different inclines, it's sturdy for really heavy cook books and it folds flat for storage in your cupboards.

Awesome book. I've been looking for a slow cooker book for over 2 years as I'm obsessed with my slow cooker but they were all either designed for the American market, used lots of tins etc or were for rather dull, uninspired meals.
This is none of the above. The recipes are diverse, cosmopolitan, exciting and everything I've done has been delicious. There's enough for experienced cooks to get their teeth into but nothing is difficult as such. I regularly use this book 3-4 times a week. Buy it.

I bought my slow cooker about 5 years ago and have only used it about 3 times. Like everyone, I keep meaning to find a recipe book with straight forward, tasty recipes that can be prepared easily at 7.00am (who wants to start cooking at that time of day?) and be ready when I get home. THIS IS IT! It was recommended by a colleague who had purchased it from the reviews on here and I am about to order 2 more for Christmas gifts. I have only done a couple of things so far, the marmalade is the best we have ever tasted and the only complaints were that I didn't make enough! I have also figured out that I can use a normal electrical socket timer so it starts half way through the day for the quicker recipes as my cooker does not have its own timer. I am now off to make the crunchy granola and some more marmalade!

I bought this book for my elderly father-in-law to help him prepare & cook a hot meal for himself every day. He seemed rather under whelmed initially, but has tried several recipies now & enjoyed them. Because the quantities were for more than one person this had to be accounted for but, so far, no major disasters.
